SORRELL SCRUTTON gained much of their experience behind the lens by spending nearly 20 years in front of the camera not behind it. That experience gave them a fine appreciation for the power of the art form.

Today they mostly work in their downtown Los Angeles studio (now open with COVID restrictions), or while barefoot on the beach in Venice or perched up in the canyons of LA, always chasing the light.

Sorrell has always had a way with animals, so they started Pets By Sorrell to capture the most memorable moments of your family pet(s) so you can cherish them in a frame on the wall forever.

They also provide discounted rates for the LGBTQIA+ community, and works hard to create a safe and comfortable space for queer folks in studio and around the world.

Their dog, Frankie, is their top model and best sidekick!
